Licenses
How OpenBookCase and its data are licensed
OpenBookCase is an open project. Its source code and the collected data are made available under separate open licenses — as was already the case with its predecessor project.
Source code
The OpenBookCase source code is open source, released under the MIT License.
Database
The collected bookcase and give-box data is published as an open database under the Open Database License (ODbL).
Some location data is imported from OpenStreetMap and remains © OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the same Open Database License (ODbL).
OpenBookCase also publishes a Taginfo project file describing which OpenStreetMap tags it uses.
